Abstract (please use no less than 300 words to describe your proposal)
A presentation on the Wikipedia Ambassadors program and its activities throughout the United States and the United Kingdom, its expansibility, esp. beyond English speaking countries, and issues of integrating Wikipedia writing and discussion into Universities and University culture. Also, discussion about the relationship between Ambassadors and other outreach activities, such as student organizations, chapter functions and GLAM. The presentation will focus the function of Ambassadors, the means of employing it effectively on campus and the major difficulties of effectively creating such a program.
