Abstract (please use no less than 300 words to describe your proposal)
I would like to give a presentation to give the audience an overview of accomplishments made by chapters. I want to collect the best examples in several fields of activities by different chapters and present them shortly. I will not go into detail, or defend choices, but would like to give people ideas and help them broaden the scope. The overview should not only include activities by established chapters, but also by "younger" chapters. More detailed information can follow later on, but considering the large amount of activities, this will only be shorter before the actual presentation. Targeted audience: people involved with real life activities, including chapters, candidate chapters and non-chapter organizational structures.
Lodewijk has been actively involved with chapters and international collaboration for five year now. He is a board member of Wikimedia Nederland (since 2006) and member of the chapters committee (since 2009), and helped organize the chapters' meeting in 2008 and 2010.
